Philippians 2:14-18
In light of Jesus' example of humility and servanthood, do not live a life of grumbling and arguing. Rather shine like stars in the sky on a dark night. Be blameless and pure in corrupt times, while you hold firmly to the word of life.

Paul partners with them in ministry like a drink offering with a sacrifice
2:14 - Do everything without grumbling or arguing
1 Cor 10:10 - And do not grumble, as some of them did - and were killed by the destroying angel.
Grumbling and arguing begins to warp us, it turns us in grumpy old men and quarrelsome women
children of God... in a crooked generation
2:15b-16a - Shine like stars in the sky
Gen 1:5 - "Count the stars...if you can"
Gen 22:16-18 - as numberous as the stars in the sky
The children of Abraham are like the stars in the sky, both in number and in brightness
stars don't exert effort to shine brighter, rather the darker it is the more they shine and the more of them we can see
