Who We Are

OUR MISSION

The mission of LEFC is to make disciples of Jesus Christ. We do this by sharing Christ in our relational worlds (our Oikos!) and pouring into the lives of others. We seek to be people who love God, love people, live truth, and proclaim Jesus. Click here to read our Guiding Principles, which shows how we put this mission into practice!

statement of faith

LEFC is affiliated with the Evangelical Free Church of America (EFCA). One of the distinctions of the EFCA is that we work to "major on the majors and minor on the minors." This does not mean that theological issues are unimportant, but rather that we will not divide over them. Our Statement of Faith outlines the theological framework of what we believe: every one of these items is considered a "major" by church leadership in our denomination. Agreement with these points is required to become a member of LEFC or to serve in a discipling role within our body. Click here to read our Statement of Faith.

governing documents

LEFC believes in the importance of being clear about its beliefs and governance. Our Constitution and Bylaws reveal a piece of our DNA. Questions about these documents may be directed to Executive Pastor Joel Lingenfelter.
