Hearts on the Move


Let's join our hearts and steps in prayer for Project 2:42! We invite you to join us in two prayer activities during the week of June 22-28 — one in your very own neighborhood and one here at LEFC! Both activities are created with families in mind so that you can include your children in praying for God's leading in the construction of our new teaching wing! Be sure to pick up your Hearts on the Move wristband at church on June 22 and where it throughout the week as a reminder to walk and pray!


june 22-28: prayer walk in your neighborhood!

During the week of June 22-28, we invite you to participate in a prayer walk around your neighborhood. Click the buttons below for key prayer points for you to walk and pray through on your own or with your family, Life Group, ABF, or Oikos. We have prayer requests specifically for your children to pray through too!

  


june 24: prayer walk at lefc!

On Tuesday, June 24, join us here at LEFC to walk through prayer stations in the church. This is a family-friendly event and will include interactive components to get your children involved! We'll have an ice cream truck as well! Drop by anytime from 7-9PM!

 


PRAYER PROMPTS

Pray through the following requests for Project 2:42 and LEFC on your prayer walk during the week of June 22-28!

Prayer for project 2:42


Time-Sensitive Prayer Requests Prior to Construction:

  • Pray that all approvals and signatures will be secured in June. 
  • Pray that everything related to our construction loan will be completed in June.
  • Pray that there will not be any major additional expenses added as we work through all of these signatures and approvals.
  • Pray that God will continue to show favor as He brings in gifts for this project.
  • Pray that we are able to secure $3 million cash-in-hand prior the start of construction.


Prayer Requests During Construction:

  • Pray for the safety of the construction workers.
  • Pray that every construction worker, inspector, and supplier will sense the presence of the Holy Spirit and that they will see the love of Jesus in each of us at LEFC.
  • Pray that through LEFC’s ministry of Operation C3, construction workers feel the tangible love of the body of Christ.


Commitment to Prayer and Generosity:

  • Pray that the people of LEFC will recognize our individual responsibility to “Inquire of The Lord” for their personal commitment in funding the expansion initiative, Project 2:42.

 

Prayer for the 4 rocks of lefc


Pray that LEFC will become a PRAYING CHURCH
Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. (Colossians 4:2)

  • Pray that this challenge to lean into prayer will be accepted by everyone at LEFC.


Pray for the vision of LEFC as a TEACHING CHURCH
All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)

  • Pray for LEFC to consistently and effectively point the hundreds of kids in Kidmin to Jesus.
  • Pray for the students and leaders in G56 and Crossover.
  • Pray for the members and leaders of every ABF and Life Group.
  • Pray for leaders who can change the world for Jesus to emerge as a result of the teaching at LEFC.


Pray that LEFC will have a MULTIPLICATION MINDSET
Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19)

  • Pray that our people will grow in their vision for reaching their oikos and will seek out discipleship opportunities.
  • Pray for the removal of the barriers that separate us from those who need the Gospel.
  • Pray for church revitalization at Immanuel Church (IEFC) in York.


Pray for LEFC's initiatives in SOUTHEAST ASIA
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16)

  • Pray for our Global Partners – for encouragement, for effectiveness in sharing the Gospel, and for their health and safety.
  • Pray for the strategic focus of LEFC in Southeast Asia and for God to continue to guide our efforts in that region.
  • Pray for the upcoming short-term mission trip to Indonesia this summer.
