WHAT ARE SUMMER INTEREST GROUPS?

It's almost summer time, and we are excited to kick off this year's Summer Interest Group season! What are Summer Interest Groups, you may be thinking. Well, they are exactly what they sounds like - groups of specific interests or activities that meet throughout the summer. Our goal is to provide you with opportunities to try something new, engage in a shared interest, and meet some new people!

HOW DO I SIGN UP?

Registration opens online on Sunday, May 17 - just in time for our Summer Interest Group Fair here at the church that Sunday morning. You can either sign up at the fair or online anytime throughout the summer! Feel free to sign up for as many groups as you wish! Signing up does not mean you are committing to the group - but rather you will be on the list to receive information about when the group is meeting.

WHAT GROUPS ARE BEING OFFERED?

Great question! Check below for the list of groups and descriptions! Be sure to check back on May 17 to sign up!

It’s a fun way to officially end our time together.

  • Roland Park in Akron
  • Herr Park (west of Lancaster, north of Millersville)
  • Buchmiller Park (just south of Lancaster City)

No experience necessary!

Anyone of high school age through great-grandparents is invited to join us! It’s a great game for singles, couples, parents and teens, Grandparents and Grandkids. You will be paired with similar skill levels to keep it fun! We generally get 10-15 players each week. New players are usually playing well by the second week. Come and enjoy this fun game and meet some new friends!

LOCATION

We usually play at Warwick Middle School Courts (located behind the Lititz Rec Center) to play this very social, non-strenuous, totally fun game.

EQUIPMENT

You will not need any equipment to start out! We will have paddles and balls available for anyone who wants to try it.

HOW TO JOIN

The first step is to sign up here on the church website. After you sign up, we will be in touch to get you connected! We use the very simple TeamReach app to schedule events.

NEW PLAYERS

Please be sure to give your contact information (phone for texts AND an email address) to the church when you sign up or we have no way to get in touch with you.

Existing Players

The church wants to know if you are playing again this year so please sign up again to keep their records up to date. I am not removing anyone from the previous rosters unless you request to be removed. You will continue to be notified by the TeamReach app.

Closer to the date(s) you sign up for, you will get an event invite where you can RSVP with what you plan to bring so we can try to avoid too many duplicate items. This group is geared toward intermediate riders (16+) who are comfortable on singletrack and looking to grow their skills, ride with others, and have a great time doing it. Whether you ride solo now or with a small crew, this is your chance to connect with others who share the same passion.

Expect a fun, encouraging, and moderately paced ride environment—not overly competitive, but definitely engaging. We’ll explore a variety of trails, mix up ride styles, and occasionally plan post-ride hangouts.

What to bring: Your bike, helmet, water, and a willingness to ride, try new trails and have fun.
