Precept class
Precept is an inductive Bible study for men and women. Inductive simply means using the Bible as our primary source of study. Using resources from Precept Ministries International, we host two semesters per year on Tuesday evenings. The class includes a video teaching and lively discussion, as well as homework to do on your own.
SPRING 2026: revelation - the sign of his coming and the end of the age
Revelation 22:7 "And behold, I am coming quickly. Blessed is he who heeds the words of the prophecy of this book."
For our next in-depth, inductive Precept Bible study at LEFC, we'll be digging into Revelation (chapters 5-22, a Precept-Upon-Precept class). We will explore the relationship of the book of Revelation to the Gospels and the New Testament, studying the prophecies and teachings they contain about the last days. This study details an exploration of the Lamb's worthiness to open the scroll, the unfolding apocalyptic events, the ultimate triumph of good over evil, and the establishment of God's eternal kingdom, focusing on judgment, redemption, and hope, especially in the context of the end-times.
We’ll be doing a lot of cross-referencing in this course, exploring the truths of the Bible. You will find yourself gaining more of a familiarity with the flow and connectivity of God’s life-changing Word!
Join us as we observe what was revealed to the apostle John. You will gain a new appreciation for God's sovereignty, His final judgment on sin and evil, and His promise of a new heaven and new earth, and the heavenly city!
