This summer, LEFC’s Kids Ministry is excited to be spending time with Jesus! July and August Sundays, we will be learning about Jesus through His life and stories—filled with love, power, forgiveness, and hope. 

Each week, kids will dive into a different moment from Jesus’ life through engaging Bible storytelling, fun activities, hands-on games, and meaningful conversations that help them on their journey in knowing, loving and following Him!  From calming storms to teaching us how to pray, these seaside moments remind us that our Savior is with us and wants to be in relationship with us every moment of each day! 

A Summer Invitation for Our Church Family 

Summer is a special season. While our year-round Shepherds take time to rest and refresh, we invite parents, grandparents, and friends to join us in serving with kids during July and August. We do the planning and preparing so you can focus on being with and getting to know the kids!  Serving in the summer is a wonderful way to invest in the next generation! We’re excited to make July and August Sundays memorable and meaningful for all our kids!

• July 5: Family Worship Sunday [Nursery and two’s classes only] 
• July 12: Jesus and the Samaritan Woman (John 4) 
• July 19: Jesus Heals the Official’s Son (John 4) 
• July 26: Jesus and Zacchaeus (Luke 19) 
• August 2: Jesus Walks on Water (Matt. 14; Mark 6; John 6) 
• August 9: Perfume for Jesus’ Feet (Luke 7) 
• August 16: Jesus Calms the Storm (Matt. 8; Mark 4; Luke 8) 
• August 23: Jesus Teaches About Prayer (Luke 11; 18) 
• August 30: Jesus Raises Lazarus (John 11) 
• September 6: Family Worship Sunday [Nursery and two’s classes only] 

Come make waves with us this summer—sharing Jesus, building relationships, and pointing kids to the Savior who walks with them through every moment of each day!  

Ways to make waves [serve] in Kids Ministry!  

Look at your schedule and consider what age group you’d like to serve with and let us know by signing up. Then we will connect with you to make sure you have all the info and materials and tour of classroom [if needed]! 

• Serve in one of our ever-growing nurseries! 
• Serve as a Shepherd in one of our two’s and three’s classes 
• Serve as a Shepherd in one of our Prek-4th grade classes 
• Serve as a Games leader or assistant 
• Serve as a one-to-one buddy
