GRACIE CLARK

October 11, 2026

Hi, My name is Gracie Clark. I am 11 years old. I am in 6th grade at Kissel Hill elementary School. Over the past couple years, I have enjoyed playing the violin, field hockey, and hanging out with my friends from school and Church. I live with my Mom, Dad and brothers Josiah and Wesley. We also have a Golden Retriever named Kobe and a cat named Hector.

When I was very young my parents started reading the Bible to me and praying with me. When I was probably around the age or 7 or 8, I started to pray about things like that my Dad would get home safely, or that I would sleep well, and things like that. Close to that age, I asked Jesus to be my Savior. I felt like I needed him in my day to day life. He became a big part of my life in 2nd grade. I knew I needed him to save me from my sins.

During the last few years I have started to lean on Jesus more. He has helped me through some friendship issues, or nerves while playing in orchestra or before a field hockey game. I love to read, and recently I started reading Genesis. I felt like he was right there, next to me, reading with me. It was an amazing feeling.

My favorite verse is in Psalm 118:24 “This is the day that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it.” I love this verse because it reminds me that God made every day for a purpose, even if it is a difficult day. I know that even in the hard times, God is with me through it all. He uses experiences, good or bad, to shape me into the person he wants me to be. I am being baptized to tell the world that I am a follower of Jesus Christ.
