LEFC Crisis Response Ministry
When crisis strikes, we’re committed to physical and spiritual transformation, and we work to rebuild lives and communities by sharing the hope of Christ—serving alongside of local churches in the impacted communities.
2026 CRISIS RESPONSE TRIPS
In September of 2024, catastrophic flooding from Hurricane Helene hit North Carolina. In 2026, LEFC will be sending 2 teams to work with the EFCA Reach Global Crisis Response ministry to bring hope to these communities in the form of mucking, gutting, and rebuilding homes. Our team will assist with drywalling, reframing, painting, electrical and plumbing work. Training will be provided in offering Christ’s love in the form of trauma care, listening to, praying with, and encouraging homeowners. We are looking for one volunteer for each trip who will stay at the site and help with food preparation for the volunteers. Construction knowledge is not required, only a willingness to be instructed. For more information, contact
