Summer Interest Groups

Check out our Awesome Groups this summer!
So much Creativity!!

Have you ever looked around the sanctuary on a Sunday morning and wondered, “Who are these people here at LEFC?” Have you thought you might like to get to know some people a little better, but aren't sure how? Plugging into a large church can be intimidating!  But it can also produce wonderful friendships. Scripture encourages us time and time again to pursue these relationships, and to get involved with one another!

Summer Interest Groups allow you to get to know people who like doing what you like to do.  Please contact the leader directly to get more information and to sign up for the groups of your choice.  The leader will add you to their email list and send you all information pertinent to the group.  Can't make all the dates listed? That's ok. Contact the leader, and get information on the dates you can come.  We'd love to see you get involved!

LEFC does not oversee any of the events that will take place as part of the summer interest groups. As such, we have no involvement in ensuring your safety as you participate in whatever activities you choose. Consider these activities like you would any activity that your family would choose to be part of outside of the church. None of the activities as part of the summer interest groups should be considered LEFC activities or events.

We are looking for individuals, couples, and families of all ages, at all skill levels to come play. There is no cost to play at any of the courses. We will provide plenty of discs if you don’t have any. This is a friendly, non-competitive time and there’s ways to mix it up to make it fun for all skill levels with some disc golf games to put a fun spin on it. If you have any questions, please ask. Also, there may be one week that we will do a cookout at a park where there is a playground to play on for the kids and other fun activities!

The following courses we’ll be visiting, maybe others too: Roland Park in Akron, Herr Park (west of Lancaster, north of Millersville), and Buchmiller Park (just south of Lancaster City). Some weeks we may switch it up and play mini disc golf at a mini disc golf course in Lancaster
