Philippians Fellowship ABF
If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being ne in spirit and purpose. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interestes, but also the interest of others. Philippians 2:1-4 NIV
These verses from the book of Philippians are the guiding principles of the Philippains Fellowship ABF class. Our common goal as a class is to welcome all ages and backgrounds into a caring, supportive environment where they can feel free to share their concerns and joys and to experience the fellowship of believers on a more personal level. Every Sunday morning at 9:00AM class members gather together in room A101 to encourage and minister to one another through prayer, testimonies, and discussion of God's Word. A steering committee under the direction of Kevin and Julie Zook provides leadership for the class by helping to secure teachers, by organizing social activities outside the classroom setting, and by maintaining contact with class members to facilitate any needs. The Philippians Fellowship class actively supports Iglesia el Faro as a mission's project through monthly offerings and occasional work projects. Reminder: Iglesia el Faro contributions are collected the first Sunday of each month!
