How To Stay Connected
Over the course of the Capital Campaign, we'll be communicating information to you in various ways. You don't have to be computer-savvy or a technophile to receive updates. We'll keep this website as simple as we can while providing as many opportunities for you to become involved.
Traditional Methods
Postal Mail (a.k.a. "snail mail") is a great way to receive something in your hand. It's tangible, you can stick it on your fridge, and you can save it for future reference. No connectivity needed!
In order for you to receive things by mail, there is nothing you need to do. We will often try to place materials in your LEFC mailbox first, to save on postage. So please check your LEFC mailbox every time you visit. But if you happen to miss it, we'll be sending you materials in the mail.
Email is also a great way to receive updates. We will be sending these regularly. Many of you have already chosen to be updated by email, and have given us your address. If you have not done so, you can stop by the Green Connection Counter on a Sunday and give us your address, or click here to send us an email.
Social Networking Sites
Social networking is one of the best ways to stay in touch with friends, family, and your community. LEFC is utilizing the following sites to build our "network" and keep as many people up to date as possible. It is also a great way to spread the word, so if you join our network, ask others to join with you!

Facebook allows you to join networks, connect with friends and family. It is also a great place to promote ideas, play games, and chat with friends who are also on Facebook at the same time.
LEFC will be using Facebook to build support and awareness for our Capital Campaign project, as well as provide an opportunity to dialogue with other members about the project.
Facebook requires that you join, but it is free, and you can customize your privacy settings. Click here to visit our Facebook Page.
Twitter is a great way to communicate news, updates, and events to anybody who is "following us." Since updates are under 140 characters in length, the messages themselves aren't overwhelming.
LEFC will be using Twitter to publish quick updates about the building project. The updates will come from various people who are authoring the site, so you'll be sure to get a variety of perspectives.
You do not have to "join" twitter in order to view the LEFC twitter page, but you do have to join if you want to "follow" us. If you'd prefer not to join, simply bookmark the site in your web browser, and come back often. Click here to visit our Twitter Page.
YouTube is a great online source to publish videos. LEFC will be publishing any video shown on a Sunday morning regarding the Capital Campaign, as well as any other videos we create to promote the campaign. Click here to visit our YouTube channel. (If you join our Facebook page or follow us on Twitter, you'll receive updates when videos are posted on YouTube.)
