Those in the fellowship will regularly coordinate a dine-out club at local restaurants for some additional times of fellowship and support.

There aren't many people around you who understand the pain your divorce or separation has caused. To you. To your family. To your friends. That's the reason for DivorceCare. It's a series of support groups and seminars conducted by people who understand what you are experiencing. More importantly, you'll learn how to deal with the pain of the past and look forward to rebuilding your life. Some children struggle deeply with separation and divorce, while others seem to bounce back quickly. But in the long run, all children are affected.

DivorceCare for Kids is a special group to help children heal from the hurt caused by the separation or divorce of their parents. They will make friends with other kids who understand how they feel and the things they are going through because of the divorce of their parents.

DivorceCare for Kids, DC4K, provides a safe, fun place where your children will learn to understand their feelings, express their emotions appropriately, feel better about themselves and develop coping skills.

This program is for children ages 5 to 12 years old. See www.dc4k.org for more information.

Balanced Boundaries for Remarkable Relationships
"Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life," Proverbs 4:23

How are you doing at guarding your heart in romantic relationships? Can you set limits and still be a loving person? Do you have to be angry to address an interpersonal issue? Balanced boundaries can empower you to create relationships that are honest, intimate, and fulfilling.

This series is designed to help you improve relational skills, deepen your intimacy with people you care about, and cultivate more love, understanding, and respect between you and others. A blend of media and teaching from Lynne Babbitt will present principles that can enhance the healthfulness of all your relationships, with a special emphasis on dating, courtship and engagement.

Singleness, Sexuality & Spirituality
God says it is His will that we be sanctified, avoid sexual immorality, and learn to control our body in a way that is holy and honorable (1Thessalonians 4:3-4).
If you are a single adult, how do you do that exactly? If you were once married and now are not, how do you re-program your sexuality? What were God's purposes in creating sex anyway? And how does He really expect us to stay pure in such a sex-saturated world?
Come find answers to these questions and hear more than you've probably ever heard about sex in the church!
Fall 2007, Sept. 21st through Nov. 16.

Parenting Solo
One of the hardest jobs in the world is parenting, when there are two parents together in the home. But what if there's not? Then for the one left with the responsibility, it seems impossible! Hearing the plight of many single parents, we created the group so you could be supported by others going through the same difficulties and get practical advice. Open to those who are divorced, separated, widowed, or never married.

Wise Choices in Relationships - click for brochure
Do your relationships sometimes feel like a roller coaster ride? Do you ever feel like the bad news about the opposite sex outweighs the good news? Are you codependent? Are you content? Would you like to understand why you choose who you do? What does a “healthy” relationship look like to you? Can you get what you need from others without fighting or stonewalling? Lynne A. Babbitt, Assistant Director of Shepherd’s Touch Counseling Ministry, is pleased to offer you “Wise Choices in Relationships”. These classes will help you gain insight into past choices and anticipate healthy future relationships.
